Maritime data, turned into answers
Argonautics mines maritime data for port and vessel analytics, and researches the AI that takes it further.
- Maritime data
- A growing record of ships and port calls across the North Sea, Baltic, English Channel and Irish Sea, kept and extended every day.
- Data mining
- Sifting that record for what matters around a port: who is waiting, who is arriving laden and which ships are coming free.
- Port and vessel analytics
- Figures you can plan around, for every port and every ship we track, each with a confidence score.
- AI and ML research
- Models that see further ahead, from earlier arrival forecasts to an assistant you can ask in plain language.
What we do not sell
Raw ship positions
Tracking a dot on a map is a commodity, and others do it well. We sell the processed answer and leave the feed to them.
Cargo tonnage nowcasts
Commodity-flow estimates need satellite AIS, terminal and customs data. We report whether a ship is laden or in ballast, and label any tonnage figure as a rough supporting estimate.
Container and ro-ro cargo signals
Those ships load and discharge on the same call, so a draught change says little. The laden/ballast signal is for dry bulk and tankers.
Talk to us
We want to hear from brokers, charterers and port service providers working in the North Sea, Baltic, English Channel and Irish Sea. Tell us which ports and ship classes matter to you; it decides which ports we add next.
